Crews cut woman out of car after crash in Dayton

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Crews had to cut a woman out of a car after a two-vehicle crash in Dayton early Monday.

The crash happened around 12:40 a.m. Monday on W. Third Street, between N. Alder and N. Trenton Streets.

One of the vehicles ended up on its side, crashed into a pole.

Crews had to cut the roof off that vehicle and remove a woman who was trapped inside.

She was taken to Miami Valley Hospital. Authorities hvve not released her condition.

A pole was damaged in the crash and wires were knocked down.

RTA and DP&L were called to the scene.

Crews shut down a section of W. Third Street to clean up the scene and repair the pole.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
