DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Crews worked quickly to put out a fire at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Dayton Tuesday morning.
Authorities say firefighters responded to reports of a fire in the kitchen of the hotel just before 6 a.m. Tuesday. An employee of the hotel tells 2 NEWS they saw smoke and flames in the kitchen.
Crews were able to put out the fire quickly.
Fire officials haven’t given an update on the amount of damage caused by the fire.
There were no reports of injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
