Crews battle car fire in Dayton

Fire investigators are working to learn what caused a car fire near an intersection in Dayton.

Authorities say someone called 911 just after 1 a.m. Wednesday to report a car on fire near the intersection of W. Riverview Avenue and Edwin C. Moses Boulevard.

When Dayton fire crews arrived, they found a Chrylser 300 on fire.

Crews worked quickly to put out the fire.

There were no reports of injuries.

Authorities at the scene say the car was not stolen.

The fire remains under investigation.
