CLAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A crash caused traffic issues in Clayton during the morning commute Monday.
The two-vehicle crash happened around 7:20 am Monday at the intersection of Hoke road and Salem Avenue.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a van was driving west on Salem Avenue when it tried to turn south onto Hoke Road. The van turned in front of a car driving east on Salem Avenue, smashing into the car.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Troopers say the driver of the van will be cited for failure to yield.
Authorities shut down a portion of the intersection, but all lanes reopened around 8:15 a.m. Monday.
The crash remains under investigation.
