County commissioners read to clients at URS

Local News

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Local community leaders spent some quality time with the children and adults at United Rehabilitation Services on Wednesday.

County Commissioners Debbie Lieberman, Judy Dodge, and Carolyn Rice read stories and shared their experiences. A client art show also took place during the event.

It’s all part of Developmental Disabilities Awareness month.

“Every time I come here it is just a great feeling to know what this organization does for so many in our community, from the youngest to as old as you want to be, it’s just a really wonderful place,” says Commissioner Debbie Lieberman.

URS has activities planned all month long.
