City of Bellbrook receives transportation grant funding

BELLBROOK, Ohio (WDTN) – The Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission awarded the City of Bellbrook with a Transportation Alternatives grant during their meeting on March 7.

The City was one of four funded projects to receive this category of grant funds.

The money will go toward pedestrian improvements along Franklin Street/OH-725 at Little Sugarcreek Road.

The full project is expected to cost $547,853 and the award from MVRPC is $342,965.

This project is a big step forward in the City’s commitment to pedestrian safety and access.
