The Montgomery County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office approved charges against 24-year-old James A. Davison for allegedly shooting two people outside of a Dayton bar Saturday, April 21.
Prosecutors approved the charges on two counts of premeditated aggravated murder, two counts of felonious assault with a deadly weapon and other charges.
According to regional dispatch, police were called to the Rick’s Jazz Lab on Lakeview Avenue just after 3:30 a.m. Saturday on reports of a shooting.
The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office identified the victims from the Dayton bar shooting as 29- year-old Darion Harris and 28- year- old Ashley James, both from Dayton.
Davison was taken into custody Monday, April 23.
