Centerville man killed in crash near Sugarcreek Township

SUGARCREEK TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) — A Centerville man is dead after a single-vehicle crash near Sugarcreek Township Monday.

The crash happened just after 1 a.m. Monday on Feedwire Road near Little Sugarcreek Road.

Police say a car ran off the road, hit a tree and crashed into a culvert.

Police say 22-year-old Evan Singleton from Centerville died in the crash.

Crews closed Feedwire Road from Little Sugarcreek Road to Soaring Heights Drive for nearly six hours to investigate and clear the scene.

Police say the crash is under investigation to determine if drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
