A woman was sent to the hospital after she told police her one-year-old cat attacked her.
Medics arrived at the scene to the 410 block of Richmond Avenue in Dayton Wednesay and took the woman to Miami Valley Hospital.
According to the police report, the woman told police the cat was put in the basement and said the cat is up-to-date on shots.
The police officer noticed the bite and scratch marks and asked the woman to fill out an animal bite quarantine form.
The woman was treated at Miami Valley Hospital and later released, according to the report.
