DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Police are investigating a break-in at a convenience store.
It happened at the Dayton Mart in the 1300 block of Patterson Road, near S. Smithville Road just after 5 a.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to a burglary alarm at the business and discovered the break-in.
According to a police report, several items were taken, including the cash register with nearly $500 in cash.
Other items were taken included cigarettes, cigars and beer, according to the police report.
Police have not released information about any potential suspects.
