Carlisle bank robbery suspect found at Indiana casino

CARLISLE, Ohio (WDTN) — The suspect who allegedly robbed a bank in Carlisle Thursday has been located.

According to Carlisle Police, he’s been identified as Mark Lunsford, 59, of Fairfield Township.

Authorities say Lunsford robbed the People’s Bank in Carlisle, passing a note to the teller demanding money.

Lunsford left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police say he did not show a weapon.

No one was injured during the robbery.

On Thursday, March 14, Lunsford was located at the Hollywood Casino & Hotel in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

Lunsford is currently being held at Deerfield County Jail in Indiana.

Carlisle Police has charged Lunsford with robbery. They will continue to investigate the incident.
