Car flees scene after striking pedestrian in Washington Twp.

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) –  Police are searching for a car that drove off after hitting a man in Washington Township Friday evening.

Dispatch tells 2 NEWS that around 6 p.m., a man was jaywalking in order to catch the bus in the 250 block of North Springboro Pike, near Fricker’s, when he was hit by a red or orange vehicle that fled the scene.

The man suffered a broken ankle, officials say, but did not sustain any life-threatening injuries.
