Car flees scene after hitting man near Harrison Township

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) — Authorities are looking for a suspect vehicle after a man was hit near Harrison Township late Sunday night.

It happened in the 3400 block of Salem Avenue, between Klepinger Road and W. Hillcrest Avenue, just after 11 p.m. Sunday.

Authorities say someone called 911 reporting a man had been hit by a vehicle, which then left the scene.

The suspect vehicle is described as a dark color Chevy Impala.

Authorities say the man was taken to Miami Valley Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Salem Avenue was shut down for more than an hour for the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
