DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Authorities are working to learn what caused a car to go up in flames on a Dayton street early Wednesday.
Firefighters responded to reports of a vehicle fire on Cambridge Avenue, near Bryn Mawr Drive, just after 4:30 a.m. Wednesday.
When crews arrived, they found a car covered in flames sitting in the middle of the street. The car was destroyed in the fire.
Another vehicle was also damaged by the fire.
No one was inside either vehicle and no one was injured.
Authorities say a tow truck would remove the burned out car later Wednesday. The car hsa been moved to the side of the road and Cambridge Avenue is open.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
