Car catches fire in Shiloh crash

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) – A two-car crash ended in flames in Shiloh Sunday.

Montgomery County Regional Dispatch told 2 NEWS the crash happened on North Main Street between Waverly Avenue and Siebenthaler Avenue at 2 a.m. Two cars were involved and one caught fire.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said a Nissan Maxima was southbound on North Main Street and approaching West Melford Avenue. When the car entered the intersection, it went left of center and hit an an Infiniti traveling northbound on North Main Street.

The driver of the Infiniti had minor injuries. Police said the driver of the Nissan fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The crash is under investigation by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
