TROTWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) — A camper fire shut down a stretch of road in Trotwood early Thursday.

Crews responded to reports of a car fire on Wolf Creek Pike, near Hollister Avenue, around 2 a.m. Thursday.

When firefighters arrived, they found a camper on fire.

Crews worked to knock down the fire and stop it from spreading to any neighboring buildings or vehicles.

The camper was heavily damaged by the fire.

No injuries were reported.

Crews shut down a portion of Wolf Creek Pike to fight the fire. That road has since reopened.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
