Boil advisory in effect for Dayton Water Dept. customers, select Greene County locations

GREENE COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) – Due to the ongoing water outage, Greene County Sanitary Engineering customers in the Kitridge Road area are on a boil advisory and water curtailment until further notice.

GCSE purchases bulk water from the City of Dayton to service the area.

Customers are asked to boil water for at least one minute before consuming water and to try to conserve water use during this event.

Service locations on the following streets should comply with this order:

  • Apex Street
  • Arctic Street
  • Depoy Street
  • Denver Street
  • Earlington Street
  • East Kitridge Road
  • Keeler Street
  • Riley Street
  • Van Meter Street

No other GCSE customers are currently affected.

The city of Dayton issued a boil advisory for Dayton Water Department customers around 8 15 p.m. Wednesday, but not all areas of Montgomery County fall under this advisory:
