LOSTCREEK TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) — The Miami County Coroner’s Office identified the body of a Sidney woman found in a ditch Saturday.

The Miami County coroner identified the victim as 38-year-old Alicia Paulus of Sidney. The initial findings in the autopsy show there is no evidence of the cause of her death as a homicide, according to the coroner.

On August 10, autopsy results revealed the cause of death as “multiple drug intoxication.”

Officials found the body of a woman on Loy Road just west of Alcony-Conover Road in Lostcreek Township just after 7:00 a.m. Saturday.

In a press release from the Miami County Sheriff’s Office, Paulus was last seen with her 42-year-old  boyfriend who was arrested on charges unrelated to Paulus’ death.

Officials will continue to investigate this suspicious death.

Deputies are asking that anyone in the area of Loy Road and Alcony-Conover Road between midnight and 7 a.m. who might have seen anything suspicious to call the Miami County Communications Center at 937-440-9911.
