Bill’s Donut Shop still accepting donations for Hurricane Michael victims

Local News

CENTERVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) – There is still time to drop off Hurricane Michael donations before the Bill’s Donut Shop crew leaves to deliver them.

The popular donut shop is still collecting donations to send to victims in the Florida Panhandle.

The hurricane made landfall as a Category 4 storm on October 10, causing widespread destruction.

Bill’s Donut Shop is collecting a variety of items like cleaning supplies, clothing, toiletries, and outdoor equipment like shovels. They’re filling a semi trailer to send south.

The plan was to leave Wednesday, but that departure has been pushed back to either Thursday or Sunday.

If you would like to donate, they ask that you bring the items into the store.
