BELLBROOK, Ohio (WDTN) – The Bellbrook Fire Department is teaming up with Dayton Children’s Hospital and Safe Kids USA for its seventh annual Drive Thru Child Passenger Safety Seat Inspection.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration estimates that close to three out of four parents and caregivers do not properly use child restraints.
As a result, this program is designed to ensure that all children under eight years old are properly restrained in the event of a crash.
One-on-one tutorials will be provided by a certified Child Passenger Safety technician who will demonstrate the proper use and installation of child restraints.
The event is happening October 14 at Bellbrook Fire Station #2, located at 4254 West Franklin Street between 11 am and 2 pm.
Inspections will be taken on a first come first serve basis, but you can schedule an appointment by calling (937) 848-3272.
