Beavercreek medical marijuana dispensary owners to face new fees

BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) — Those who wish to open medical marijuana dispensaries in Beavercreek will face new fees to do so.

2 News partners the Xenia Daily Gazette reports during a special city council meeting last week, the city changed an ordinance regarding fees for dispensaries.

The ordinance now says business owners who wish to sell medical marijuana must pay $250 for a provisional license and business owners will then have to pay another $250 for zoning.

When both of those applications are granted, an operating license will cost $5,000.

An additional $15,000 will be owed after a year in business.
