DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A SWAT standoff in Dayton ended overnight on Wednesday.
According to police, officers responded to a home on East Third Street near South Hedges Street around 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday, where a man reportedly refused to come out.
A 911 caller reported that her son was making serious threats to harm others.
SWAT was eventually called to the home and the Dayton Police Department asked people to avoid the area.
Montgomery County Regional Dispatch later reported that the suspect was taken into custody just after 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday and no one was hurt.
