DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Two teens were killed in a Clark County crash Friday, according to the Springfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred on U.S. Route 68 South near U.S. Route 41 around 4 p.m., officials say.
According to Ohio State Patrol, a Honda Civic on U.S. Route 68 traveled off the left side of the roadway into the center median.
The Honda continued through the center median into the southbound lanes of U.S. Route 68 and was struck by a Hyundai Tucson.
The driver of the Honda, 17-year-old Taylor Haffner, and her passenger, 17-year-old Osman Diaz, both died at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the Hyundai were transferred to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
