HARRISON TWP., Ohio (WDTN) — Police say one person is dead following a fatal car crash in Harrison Township on Wednesday night.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the crash was reported at approximately 9:26 p.m. at 3875 Salem Ave.
Deputies found a green 2011 Chrysler 300 that had crashed into an RTA pole on the east side of the roadway. The driver was trapped upon arrival.
The man was extracted from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigation determined the vehicle was traveling south on Salem Avenue when the driver lost control, traveling off the left side of the roadway and colliding with an RTA pole.
This incident remains under investigation.
