DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Montgomery County Animal Resource Center will hold its “Spring Fling” adoption special this weekend.

Between 10 am and 4 pm on Saturday, April 13, all pet adoptions will be free, thanks to several community sponsors who stepped up to cover adoption fees. The shelter is located at 6790 Webster Street.

“We get a great response from the community at our adoption specials,” said Robert Gruhl, Interim Director for the Animal Resource Center. “As with any of our events, we hope to get all our adoptable pets into permanent homes on Saturday.”

Adoptions include spay/neuter, initial vaccines, first-year license, heartworm testing, microchip, and rabies vaccine.

Sponsors include Grandview Medical Center, The Oniru Group, Economy Linen, HER Realtors – Shannon Jackson, Wings of Love Home Care, the City of Dayton, McDonald’s, and Sign Dynamics.
