MIAMISBURG, Ohio (WDTN) – Authorities are searching for a small child who was abducted on August 13, possibly as part of a custody dispute.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that 2-year-old Atticus Phillips was taken from 514 East Maple Avenue around 4 pm on Monday, August 13.
Atticus is described as a white male with blondish-brown hair, hazel eyes, standing three feet tall, weighing between 35 and 40 pounds.
He was abducted by his mother, Kelsy Hannah, who is described as a white female, standing five feet seven inches tall, weighing 210 pounds, with red hair and green eyes.
Police believe she took off with Atticus after refusing to hand the child over to another family member.
The suspect is possibly driving a gold 1999 Chevrolet with Ohio license plate number GGJ3645. Kelsy may have fled to other family members residence’s in Montgomery County, Kentucky, or Tennessee.
The child may be in immediate threat of danger.
