911 caller sees flames from highway, reports house fire in Dayton

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Investigators are working to learn what caused a house fire in Dayton late Monday.

A 911 caller reported the fire at a house at the corner of Savannah Avenue and Chicamauga Aveune just after 11 p.m. Monday.

The caller said she could see the flames all the way from US-35.

Crews arrived and found flames coming from the house.

Authorities say the house is believed to be vacant.

No injuries were reported.
