911 Caller: Bullet goes through window in Dayton neighborhood

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Police are investigating reports of shots fired in a Dayton neighborhood.

Officers went to Guenther Road, between Lotus Drive and Fruedenberger Avenue, just before 4 a.m. Friday.

Authorities say someone called 911 reporting gunshots in the area.

The 911 caller reported hearing several shots. She said one of the bullets came through her living room window.

Police arrived on the scene to investigate and blocked Guenther Road. Officers put evidence markers in the middle of the street.

There were no reports of injuries.

Police say they are familiar with the home where the incident happened.
