Eight people were indicted Monday in connection to an undercover drug investigation.

The Dayton Police Department Narcotics Bureau and the Central Patrol Operations Division Community Problem Response team conducted an undercover investigation in July and October of 2017 on complaints of drug activity from citizens and business owners.

Undercover detectives bought the illegal drugs that led them to the alleged eight involved in drug activity.

The Montgomery County Grand Jury indicted the eight people on a felony charge of drug trafficking:

  • Steven Arnold
  • Mayfield Evans
  • Deren Craft
  • Raymon Dixon
  • John Myrick
  • Christopher Ross
  • Deontay Williams
  • Nicholos Woodson

Police say Williams and Craft have active warrants out for their arrest.
