SHELBY COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) — Three teens were taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle crash in Shelby County Sunday.
Authorities say the accident happened just after 5:30 p.m. Sunday Wright-Putoff Road, near Wright-Moyer Road.
Deputies with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office say the car was driving north on Wright-Puthoff Road when it overcorrected and hit two trees, leaving the car split in two.
Two males and a female were inside the car at the time were ejected. Authoriites say all three crash victims are 17 years old.
Medics took two victims Wilson Hospital. The victim in the front seat of the car was taken via CareFlight.
Authorities have not released the conditions of the crash victims.
Deputies do not believe the crash victims were wearing seat beats at the time of the crash.
Crews with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and Fort Loramie Fire Department and Fort Loramie Rescue are assisting at the scene.
