DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Police are working to learn how two men suffered head injuries in Dayton early Monday.

Officers went to the 400 block of Livingston Avenue, near Linden Avenue, just after midnight on reports of people injured.

When police arrived, they found two men in a camper with head injuries. Police say the injuries were the result of blunt force trauma to the head.

Both people were taken to Miami Valley Hospital.

Police say one of the men suffered life-threatening injuries, while the other suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Homicide detectives were called to investigate the incident due to the serious injuries suffered by one of the victims.

Police say they’re not sure if the two men injured each other during a fight, or if another suspect was involved.

No suspect information has been released.

Police say neither victim is cooperating with the investigation.
