DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — One person is in custody in connection with a stolen RTA vehicle investigation in Dayton.
The incident happened at the RTA platform Monday just before 7 p.m.
The Greater Dayton RTA reported that a supervisor van was taken. Authorities said the vehicle took off down North Main Street towards East Third Street, prompting a pursuit.
Police later found the vehicle abandoned at Salem and Hillcrest.
The person authorities believe stole the vehicle was caught soon after. The incident remains under investigation.
