CENTERVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) – Governor John Kasich was in Dayton Thursday with Senator Rob Portman to meet with volunteers and interns working for the Portman for Senate campaign.
The appearance at the Portman for Senate office in Centerville was part of the “Moving Ohio Forward” RV tour.
The race for Portman’s Senate seat is one of the most heated and most watched across the nation.
Wednesday Portman and his opponent, former governor Ted Strickland, agreed to three fall debates to be held in Youngstown Oct. 14, in Columbus on Oct. 17 and in Cleveland on Oct. 20.READ MORE: Portman, Strickland set 3 fall debates in Ohio Senate race
