DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Congressman Mike Turner joined 2 NEWS Tuesday to discuss his thoughts on the Mueller report.
The report follows two investigations, one in the House and one in the Senate, into whether or not there was collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. It also attempts to assess any Russian interference in the U.S.’s election process.
“All three investigations: Mueller, the House, and the Senate, concluded that there was no collusion and no crime that had been committed. All of them gave us a greater picture on the issue of the challenge of Russia’s attempt to interfere in our elections. Our goal is to look at that information to see what we need to do to try to protect our election processes in the future,” says Rep. Turner.
He goes on to say that while he would not mind bringing in Mueller or Barr to testify further on the investigation, he feels that Congress “needs to move on.”
