Actor James Franco wants to turn the quiet, farm city into a movie set.
Franco wants to shoot part of the low budget film, The Long Home, in Eaton and Lebanon.
FilmDayton reports that two of Franco’s film partners are from Hamilton. Vince Jolivette and Jay Davis are partners in the Rabbit Bandini production company.
The movie is set in rural 1940s Tennessee and tells the story of a violent bootlegger who wrecks havoc on a small town.
Franco has another film that will shoot in the Cincinnati area. Goat is an indie film that stars Ben Schnetzer and Nick Jonas.
