DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The following is a list of local school levies on the ballot for the primary election on May 7, 2019. More information, links and other items will be added to this list. 

Montgomery County 

  • Beavercreek City Schools 
    • 6.15 mills – additional levy for the emergency requirements of the school district 
    • Five years starting 2019 
    • Emergency requirements 
  • Beavercreek City Schools
    • 1 mill for permament improvements 
    • Five years commencing 2019 
  • Kettering City Schools 
    • 6.9 mills renewal levy for current operating expenses 
    • Continuing period of time  
  • Oakwood City Schools
    • Bond issue and tax levy 
    • Proposed bond issue principal amount $18,000,000 over 37 years (2.7 mills), additional property tax (4.99 mills) for current expenses for CPT. 
    • 37 years and continuing period of time 
  • Tri-County North Local School District 
    • Emergency requirements 
    • Renewal levy of 2.6 mills for the emergency requirements of the school district 
    • 10 years commencing 2019 
  • Tri-County North Local School District
    • Renewal of a 1 percent income tax providing funds for current expenses 
    • Five years
  • Valley View local School District 
    • Additional levy of 6.49 mills for current operating expenses 
    • Continuing period of time.  

Greene County 

  • Beavercreek City Schools
    • 6.15 mills – additional levy for the emergency requirements of the school district 
    • Five years starting 2019

  • Beavercreek City Schools 
    • 1 mill for permament improvements 
    • Five years commencing 2019 
  • Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Local School District (overlap)
    • Replacement levy 
    • Current Operation: $561,079,940 revenue 
    • 7.5 mills, 75 cent for each 100 hundred dollar valuation 
    • Continuing period of time, commencing 2019. 
  • Kettering City Schools 
    • 6.9 mills renewal levy for current operating expenses 
    • Continuing period of time 

Miami County 

  • Piqua City School District 
    • Renewal and Increase 
    • Renewal of 1.8 mills and an increase of 1.2 mills for general permanent improvements. 
    • At rate not exceeding 30 cents for each one hundred dollars of valuation 
    • For continuing period of time. 
    • Commencng in 2019 
  • Tipp City Exempted Village School District 
    • Bond Issue for expanding, renovating, improving L.T. Ball intermediate School with related improvements and appurtenances thereto. 
    • Cost: $35,750,000 to be repaid annually over a maximum period of 27 years.
    • Annual levy of property taxes be made outside of the ten-mill limitation, estimated by the county auditor to average over the repayment period 54 cents for each one hundred dollars of valuation, commencing in 2019.
    • Due calendar year 2020 to pay annual debt charges on bonds and to pa ydebt charges on any notes issued in anticipation of those bonds.  

Warren County 

  • Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Local School District 
    • Replacement of tax for benefit of school district in Greene and Warren counties, for the current operationg expenses at a rate not exceeding 7.5 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to 75 cents per one hundred dollars of valuation  
    • For continuing period of time. 
  • Clinton-Massie Local School District 
    • Income tax of one-half percent
    • Five years beginning Jan. 1, 2020. 
    • For the purpose of current expenses.  
  • Lebanon City Schools 
    • Levy imposed for purpose of avoiding an operating deficit in the sum of $5,000,000, and a levy of taxes to be made outside of the ten-mill limitation.
    • Amounts $0.499 for each one hundred dollars of valuation for a period of four years, commencing in 2019 and first due in calendar year 2020.  

Butler County  

  • Ross Local Schools 
    • Income tax for current expenses, .5 percent  
    • Continuing period of time.  

Champaign County 

  • Graham Local Schools (overlaps Champaign and Shelby counties) 
    • Income tax additional 1 percent for five years, commencing Jan. 1, 2020 
    • Five Years 
  • West Liberty-Salem Local School District (filed in Logan County) 
    • Income tax renewal 1 percent, three years, beginning Jan. 1, 2020 for current expenses.  

Clark County 

  • None posted on election board website as of April 2, 2019

Mercer County 

  • Parkway Local School District 
    • Replacement tax for purpose of improvements, renovations, and additions to school facilities, acquiring land and equipment. 
    • Not exceeding 1.5 mills or 15 centers for each one hundred dollar valuation  
    • For Five years, first due in 2020
  • St. Henry Consolidated School District 
    • Renewal of existing levy 
    • Providing for emergency requirements of the school district in sum of $1,010,000. 
    • Levy of taxes to be outside ten-mill limitation estimated by the county auditor to the average of 6.8 mils for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to 68 cents for each one hundred dollars of valuation.  
    • For five years  
    • Commencing in 2015, due in calendar year 2020. 
  • Tri-County North Local School District 
    • 2.6 mills renewal levy for 10 years 
    • Emergency requirements of he school district 
  • Tri-County North Local School District 
    • 1 percent income tax renewal 
    • Old tax expiring end of 2019.  
    • Five years 
    • Beginning Jan. 1 2020. 
  • Valley View Local School District 
    • 6.49 mills 
    • Currrent operating expenses 
    • Continuing period of time 

Shelby County 

  • Fort Loramie School District 
    • Renewal, current operation expenses 
    • Income tax renewal 1.5 percent 
    • 5 years commencing 2019, first due 2020 
  • Russia Local School District 
    • Property Tax 8 mills 
    • Continuing period of time. 
    • First dude 2020 
  • Graham Local Schools (overlaps Champaign and Shelby counties) 
    • Income tax additional 1 percent for five years, commencing Jan. 1, 2020
