Free dental care offered for veterans

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Aspen Dental opened its doors Saturday to offer free dental care to thousands of veterans.

More than 300 practices took part in the day of free service, including locations in the Dayton region.

The offer was all part of the Healthy Mouth Movement, a community-giving initiative launched in 2014 to deliver free dental care and oral health education to people in need.

Last year, nearly 2,000 Aspen Dental team members volunteered their time and talents to deliver more than $1 million in free dental care to nearly 3,000 patients in need.
