ORLANDO, Florida (WDTN) – The father of a two-year-old killed in an alligator attack at Disney World Resort says a second gator attacked him as he fought to save his son.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Matt Graves told authorities as they took him to the hospital for treatment.

His son, Lane Graves, was dragged into a lagoon at the Grand Floridian Resort last month.

The boy’s body was found intact 15 yards from shore, about six feet under water, 16 hours later.

The Sentinel reported five alligators were killed in the 16-hour search for the boy.
