“Family Fun Day” event held to raise awareness for safe, healthy family activities

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Family Violence Prevention Center of Greene County is creating some extra fun at Young’s Jersey Dairy this weekend.

They are putting on a family fun day along with Michael’s House and the Greene County’s Child Advocacy Center to help raise awareness of safe activities with children.

Harmony Byrd from the Family Violence Prevention Center and Teresa Wiles from Michael’s House talked with 2 NEWS about what the public should know about the event.

“Family Fun Day” will take place Sunday, August 12 from 1 to 4 pm at Young’s Jersey Dairy.

Those interested in attending can purchase tickets in advance through Michael House’s website or purchase them the day of the event.
