Police were called around 1 a.m. Saturday to East Parkwood Drive.
When officers arrived, they met with a woman and her boyfriend. The two said they were walking their dog down the street when a gray pit bull charged and attacked their dog and tried to bite them. The woman then pulled out a gun and shot the dog twice.
