SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) – A man is behind bars Friday after he’s accused of stealing student’s medication from the school nurse.

Surveillance video showed school janitor Kevin L Williams in the act of stealing medication from a medicine storage cabinet, according to a press release from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

Educational Support Officers responded to Williams’ house on Friday to confront him about the theft.

Williams was taken in for questioning where he confessed to two separate incidents of theft of adderall medication that belonged to students at the school, according to the release.

He is charged with two counts of felony theft and is currently being held at the Clark County Jail.

He will be arraigned at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 3 at the Springfield Municipal Court.
