DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Police say two late-night shootings in Dayton are related.
Officers responded to a shooting call in the 800 block of Boone Place just after 8:30 p.m. Monday night.
Authorities say someone called 911, saying they heard gunshots before finding a victim alive and breathing with a gunshot wound.
Minutes later, officers received another call of a person shot in the 1000 block of Danner Avenue.
Police found one shooting victim at each scene.
Both victims were taken to hospitals. One of those victims is in critical condition, while police say the other suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The shootings remain under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to call Dayton Police.
