DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A man has been indicted in the fatal shooting of his girlfriend in Moraine.

Prosecutors said Friday Reginald Lee Varner, 47 was indicted on charges related to the fatal shooting of his girlfriend, Katherine Glass on June 7.

Investigators say Varner and his girlfriend were in a vehicle ay the Arby’s on Springboro Pike in Moraine when Varner shot the 56-year-old Katherine Glass. Prosecutors also say Varner then moved Glass’ body from the driver’s seat of the car to the passenger seat and drove away.

Glass’ body was moved again, according to Prosecutors, into a van which was later found at a home in Jefferson Township. Investigators say they found Glass’ body in the van after a friend of Varner reported the shooting.READ MORE: One dead in Moraine shooting

Varner was indicted on three counts of murder, two counts of felonious assault, one count of tampering with evidence and one count of gross abuse of a corpse.

Varner is being held in the Montgomery County jail on $500,000 bond. He is due in court on June 21.
