DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Police are investigating a shooting in Dayton that happened on Wednesday.
The shooting happened in the 3800 block of Cornell Drive just before 8:30 p.m. Montgomery County Regional Dispatch said shell casings were found on the roadway.
Police reported that upon arrival the scene, officers found a 25-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds.
The man was transported to a local hospital and was listed to be in stable condition as of Thursday morning.
Police said the investigation is still ongoing.
