Police: Home invasion ends in death of Miamisburg 18-year-old

MIAMISBURG, Ohio (WDTN) – Police are searching for two suspects after an 18-year-old was shot to death in Miamisburg Sunday night during a home invasion.

Investigators say the shooting happened just before 10 p.m. off the 100 block of North First Street.

Two armed individuals entered one of the apartments at the residence with the intent to rob the home.

The perpetrators opened fire upon the occupants inside, killing 18-year-old Noah Kinser and sending another person to the hospital with unknown injuries.

A neighbor called 911 and described hearing gunshots in the apartment complex, in addition to hearing people run through the alley outside.

Police are looking for two suspects wearing hoodies. They jumped into a small, dark colored car after the crime and fled the scene.

They are considered armed and dangerous. No word yet on which direction they’ve fled or their whereabouts.

The shooting remains under investigation.

Miamisburg Police say they are evaluating video and witness statements, and that anyone with information is asked to call Sgt. Jeff Muncy at (937) 847-6612.
