DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – 2 NEWS Jake Ryle goes behind the scene’s of CJ’s new stadium before the sold out game of the week.
Brian Reinhart, Athletic Director for Chaminade Julienne , says the stadium cost $6 million dollars and was made possible in large part to a generous donation from Roger Glass, owner of Marion’s Pizza.
“What a bless it is to be able to walk out of backdoor, instead of having to travel everywhere, and using other facililties and not really having a home,” Reinhart says.
Until this year, the eagles played their home games on a visitors field.
The stadium is state of the art where the lights can be turned on by using an app. It has 2,100 seats with 196 of theme with backs.
Reinharat goes on to say that, “It’s part of our campus now, it’s part of the fabric of our school, and daily life.”
