DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A known prostitute who is HIV positive is sitting in jail again.
A Montgomery County grand jury indicted Amanda Wyatt, 27, on several charges.
She is charged with soliciting after a positive HIV test, assault and possessing drug instruments.
Police arrested Wyatt March 19 after receiving complaints that she was soliciting along East Third Street near South Jersey Street.
Officers say they found her and a man inside a shuttered nuisance property.
This is the second time in recent weeks that a woman known to be HIV positive was picked up by police.
Alysa Givens, 26, is accused of soliciting in the same area of town. She was released on a prostitution charge March 12 only to be arrested again March 16.
She remains in jail. Her next court date is April 8.
