BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) — Folks were chowing down on cheesesteak at Submarine House Saturday afternoon.
The fifth annual Submarine House Cheesesteak Challenge was held at the Beavercreek restaurant at 3195 Dayton-Xenia Road.
Aaron Smith walked away with a full stomach and the title. He had the fastest time for gobbling down the cheesesteak and won $1,000 and a trophy.
Submarine House also present Dayton Children’s Hospital with a check of more than $15,000.
Living Dayton co-hosts Sallie Taylor and Katie Kenney were on hand for the event.
There was also a drawing in which one lucky customer walked away with $10,000.
