5 arrested in Clark County drug raid


SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) – Detectives in Clark County seized drugs, cash and guns and arrested five people in a raid Thursday morning.

The Clark County Sheriff said Friday his office raided a home in the 1600 block of West Pleasant Street at 7:00 Thursday morning. The investigation began after receiving a tip.

Deputies with a search warrant found crack cocaine, heroin, assorted prescription medication, drug paraphernalia, cash and firearms, according to the Sheriff.

Calvin White, 49 and Robert White, 46 were found inside the home and arrested. Three other people were in the house at the time of the raid and they were all arrested as well on outstanding warrants.

Calvin and Robert White are both charged with two counts of possession of drugs, having weapons under disability and tow counts of drug trafficking.

The investigation into this case is ongoing.
