DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Miami Valley viewers donated nearly $116-thousand to URS during the 41st annual telethon on WDTN.

London Odom is this year’s Telethon Ambassador. She and her mother Charisse, URS Executive Director Dennis Grant, and this year’s chairs Dan McCabe from CareSource and his wife Jean were all on hand.

2 News anchors Mark Allan and Brooke Moore emceed the telethon, and Chief Meteorologist Brian Davis took part as well. Many community partners spoke about how URS helps their clients. Several corporate sponsors matched donations during various three-minute windows.

Longtime URS supporter Chuck Berry made a surprise donation as the telethon closed. Once Chuck’s money was added, the final total from the telethon was $114,071.

Anyone who may not have had the chance to donate during the telethon can donate at URSDayton.org.
